About Us
This is a podcast intended both for families planning bar/bat mitzvahs as well as an outlet for mitzvah industry professionals to speak about trends, topics, and the overall state of the bar/bat mitzvah industry.
Our hosts, Dylan and Mike are owners at Xplosive Entertainment, one of the nation’s leading Bar and Bat Mitzvah entertainment companies. Xplosive has been providing high-energy and personalized events for nearly 20 years. With over 2000 mitzvahs in over 20 states and recognized as industry educators Dylan and Mike wanted to create an outlet to share tips, tricks and trends while continuing to raise the bar at simchas across the nation.

Dylan is the perfect example of interaction meets impactful.
There is nothing Dylan loves more than create extraordinary moments that turn into conversation pieces for years to come and would love the opportunity to do the same for you!!!
Since 2006, Dylan Weisman has helped run and manage some of the area’s most dynamic event firms with much of his time spent growing his Flare Event Group brand in the Philadelphia area.
If creative games and contests are more your speed, Dylan spent 23 summers as an interactive summer camp counselor creating one-of-a-kind experiences for campers of all ages. For 5 years, Dylan was the program director for a non-profit weekend camp experience.
DJ MICHAEL T
DJ | VJ | MC | Tech Guru | Event Visionary
Mike is responsible for day to day operations at Xplosive.
Michael joined Xplosive Entertainment full time in September 2012. Prior to that, Michael was a banquet and event director at two of New Jersey’s top, non-traditional, event venues. During this time, Michael mastered the craft of event planning and entertainment coordination. Throughout Michael’s tenure as event director, he moonlighted as a DJ at some of the Jersey Shore and Philadelphia’s top nightlife destinations.
Mike is responsible for day to day operations at Xplosive. He handles a lot of the sales, graphic design, event coordination, technology, and logistics for this rapidly growing event production company. Michael also works as a DJ specializing in events with video mixing, and those with tough technical requirements.
